Baltimore City Department of Public Works Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., today announced that on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, DPW contract workers will begin to restore the slope at the Druid Lake Dam. This work will involve the removal of 13 so-called “volunteer” trees - vegetation which has self-seeded on the base of the dam. This work will be complete in approximately 6 weeks.

Welcoming the first day of fall, the Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) is pleased to announce our autumn lineup of cleaning and greening activities starting this October. The popular GROW (Green Resources & Outreach for Watersheds) Centers will be popping up again this fall! The first of three GROW Center events is Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Langston Hughes Community Center, 5011 Arbutus Ave. 21217.

City residents can now apply in person at one of Baltimore’s Community Action Partnership (CAP) centers for the new Baltimore H2O Assists and BH2O Plus water affordability programs offered by the Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW).
