The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 2.83 acres and is located south-west at the intersection of S Hanover Street and Barney Street. The project will consist of demolition of current site conditions, installation of underground utilities, and building construction.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. Stormwater quality management is achieved by impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 1.23 ac of this project.
