Sewer Overflow Stopped

On the afternoon of June 4, 2019, DPW crews noted the leakage of a broken sewer line into a storm drain at West Northern Parkway and Cylburn Avenue. Crews completed a bypass pumping operation on June 5, stopping the overflow of slightly over 11,100 gallons.

DPW Warns: Beware of Scams

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., is advising Baltimore City water customers to be aware of scams.  This afternoon, an individual presenting himself as a DPW employee, approached a resident in the Hamilton area and asked for payment of his water bill.  This is a scam, and DPW does not make collections in this manner.
