The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments of this project’s application for Redevelopment Waiver, and Fee-in-lieu

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.420 acres and is located southeast at the intersection of Falls Road and Roland Avenue. The project will consist of renovating two existing warehouses for proposed apartment units, upgrading utilities and repaving/expanding existing parking areas. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The applicant is also requesting a fee-in-lieu waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-3 of the City Code, so that a payment may be made in-lieu of stormwater management treatment to address the 0.08  impervious acre water quality requirement for this project’s 0.42 acre limit of disturbance, as environment site design has been implemented to the maximum extent practical and it has been demonstrated implementing stormwater management facilities or best management practices on-site is not practical.
