Application for Redevelopment Waiver and Qualitative Control Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment and qualitative control waiver.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate limit of disturbance of 0.89 acres and is located on private property at 3501 East Biddle Street, Baltimore. The project will consist of removal and replacement of certain existing private stormwater infrastructure and repaving of disturbed areas.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 and -7, respectively, of the City Code. Applicant will return all disturbed areas to pre-developed conditions; the existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions required for the redevelopment waiver. The Applicant has demonstrated that on-site water quality control is not practicable. The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.45 ac of this project.
