The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.60 acres and is located on the north side of Pratt Street at the intersection of Pratt and Howard Streets. The project will consist of the reconstruction of the plaza to increase pedestrian walking areas, add pedestrian seating and eliminate the mounded planter beds to improve lines of sight. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.09 ac of this project.
