The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver and redevelopment waiver.

Project Description: The project site, located in Baltimore City, is located within Middle East /Eager Park Neighborhood along segments of N. Washington St. (east side) between Ashland Ave. and E. Eager St.; E. Eager St. between N. Washington St. and N. Chester St.; N. Chester St. between Ashland Ave. and E. Eager St.; Ashland Ave. between N. Washington St. and N. Patterson Park Ave.; and N. Patterson Park Ave. between Ashland Ave. and E. Eager St. The work includes utility, roadway and sidewalk improvements in the City Right-of-Way. The project has an approximate area of 4.62 acres.
The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 2.50 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 2.50 ac of this project.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. . The project will provide area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.11 ac of this project. The Applicant will satisfy the remaining water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.94 ac of this project.
