The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The ER4130 Environmental Restoration Project is a bundle of City of Baltimore (COB) Municipal Separate Sewer System (MS4) and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) restoration projects for various communities within COB’s limits. The project will enhance the water quality in the impaired watersheds within COB and ultimate Chesapeake Bay. This project calls for the construction of 22 Best Management Practices (BMP) facilities within the COB limits.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide water quality controls and impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 6.72 acres of this project.
