Quarantine Road Landfill Operations

Baltimore City Department of Public Works Acting Director Matthew W. Garbark announced today that an employee who works at the Quarantine Road Landfill tested positive for COVID-19 and issued the following statement:  “We are evaluating options available to continue operations at the Landfill for tomorrow, Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, given the impact closing the Landfill will have on Bureau of Solid Waste operations and residents.  Employees at the Landfill will be given tomorrow and Saturday off, and we have requested the Health Department's assistance with testing employees,” said Acting Director Garbark.
