The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 2.50 acres and is located southeast at the intersection of W Cold Spring Lane and E Wabash Avenue. The project will consist of 165 tax credit financed affordable housing units within a 4 story building, along with associated utility, parking and related site improvements. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide 6 bio-retention facilities to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 1.13 acres this project.
