The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 2.14 acres (0.89 acres are located in the limit of disturbance) and is located in Baltimore City on Belair Road between the intersections of Belair Road and Cook Avenue and Belair Road and Lasalle Avenue.  The project will consist of streetscape improvements along Belair Road in the project area including pervious bump outs, ADA curb ramps, resurfacing, and landscaping, including additional tree planting.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the existing impervious area >40% condition for this waiver. The project will provide impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for this project.
