Christmas and New Year’s Holidays

Baltimore City Department of Public Works Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., reminds citizens that Christmas and New Year’s Day are City holidays.  DPW offices and yards will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 and Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Trash and recycling collections will occur as scheduled on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

YH2O Water Mentoring Program Wins Amazon Web Services City on a Cloud Innovation Challenge

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW), in cooperation with program partners, the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED) and the Chesapeake Water Environment Association (CWEA), jointly announce that the YH2O Water Mentoring Program has won the Amazon Web Services (AWS) City on a Cloud Innovation Challenge.

Baltimore City Public Works Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., has announced that the Small Business Development (SBD) Program Closing Ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. tonight, Thursday, December 5 at the Morgan State University’s Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management, 4200 Hillen Road. 

City’s Mitten Tree Campaign Starts Thursday, December 5

Join the Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) for music and holiday fun! On Thursday, December 5, DPW will launch its Mitten/Giving Tree Campaign. This event will be held in the lobby of the Abel Wolman Municipal Building, 200 Holliday Street. The ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m.
