DPW Wants to Hear from You! Take Our Online Survey!   Let Us Know How the DPW Website Works for You!

 DPW is asking visitors to the Department’s website to respond to a brief online survey designed to gather information about the website and identify opportunities for improvements. “DPW is in the process of rebuilding our online presence and a critical part of this process is gathering feedback on how the current website is working,” said Director Jason Mitchell.

Baltimore City to Resume Residential Street Sweeping on July 13   Residents Urged to Follow the ‘No-Parking’ Signs, Move Vehicles

Baltimore City DPW and DOT have announced the official restart of residential street sweeping. Starting on July 13, 2022, DPW will resume its Mechanical Street Sweeping Operations. To prepare for the return of mechanical street sweeping, residents and visitors are asked to follow the “No Parking Signs” which provide information about area parking restrictions on street sweeping days, Monday through Friday.

Independence Day: DPW Offices, Sanitation Yards Closed, Monday July 4th

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Jason W. Mitchell reminds residents that Independence Day, Monday, July 4, 2022, is a City holiday. DPW offices and sanitation yards will be CLOSED.

Weekly trash and recycling collections are NOT impacted by the Independence Day closure. Monday is not a scheduled curbside trash or recycling collection day.

Baltimore City Department of Public Works Releases 2021 Water Quality Report

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Jason W. Mitchell today announced that DPW has published its 2021 Water Quality Report. The report shows that the water DPW provides to residential and commercial customers continues to meet or exceed regulatory standards.

DPW Launches New Quality Assurance Survey for Water Bill Concerns

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW), Customer Service and Support Division launched its new Quality Assurance Survey. The survey's launch will provide the Department with direct feedback from City residents regarding their water billing customer service requests experience. 

Juneteenth: DPW Offices, Sanitation Yards Closed Monday June 20

DPW Establishes Environmental Regulatory Compliance Section

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Jason W. Mitchell announced the creation of DPW’s Environmental Regulatory Compliance Section. To lead the new section, Director Mitchell selected Andrea Buie-Branam, who brings 35 years of regulatory compliance experience working for the Maryland Department of Environment (MDE) and the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA).
