DPW Offices and Yards Closed Election Day Tuesday, November 3

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Acting Director Matthew W. Garbark reminds citizens that Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, is a City holiday.  DPW offices, yards and Community Collection Centers will be CLOSED. Trash collections scheduled for Tuesday, will be collected on the make-up day, Saturday, November 7.

DPW Continues to Evaluate Recycling Operations Community Collection Centers Now Open on Saturdays

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) is continuing to evaluate its ability to resume curbside recycling collections. “National health reports indicate that the COVID-19 virus is beginning to surge. Some contributing factors to the surge include individuals moving from congregating outdoors to indoors. Out of an abundance of caution, DPW will not resume curbside recycling collections at this time,” Acting DPW Director Matthew W. Garbark announced today.
