The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 0.82 acres and is located within the area bounded by W. Baltimore Street (to the North), W. Pratt Street (to the South), S. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (to the East), and S. Arlington Avenue (to the West). The project will consist of installation of new gas main and abandonment of existing main via open trenching and directional drilling.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 0.82 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for this 0.82 ac project.
