BALTIMORE, MD (December 13, 2013): Public Works Director Alfred H. Foxx announced today that the 2014 Department of Public Works (DPW) Calendar is in the mail to Baltimore City residents. The highly popular calendar is a vital tool for our citizens, providing a wide range of information about our services and programs.

In addition, each month of the calendar highlights a specific aspect of the important work performed by DPW. This includes information on customer care, trash and recycling collections, street sweeping, technological advances, stream restoration, infrastructure investment and more. It also includes Baltimore City holiday schedules and important contact and assistance information. Popular DPW events like Big Truck Day and our three reservoir celebrations are also included to help you plan ahead so that you won’t miss them.

The calendar is free to Baltimore City residents and has been voted one of the best uses of taxpayers’ money by City Paper’s Best of Baltimore.

City residents who have not received a calendar within the next two weeks should call 311 to request one. The calendar will also soon be posted on-line at publicworks.baltimorecity.gov.
