Application for Redevelopment Waiver Application for Qualitative and Quantitative Control Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for redevelopment waiver and qualitative control and quantitative control waivers. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: | The project has an approximate area of 0.76 acres and is located south of the intersection of E. Cromwell Street and Insulator Drive. The project will consist of maintenance and restriping of the existing parking lot and installation of curb, gutter, and landscape islands. The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that on-site water quality control is not practicable for an impervious area of 0.21 ac. The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.21 ac of this project. The Applicant is requesting a Quantitative Control Waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-1 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that 0.76 ac of the project has a direct, concentrated discharge of stormwater to tidal waters. The applicant will not be required to provide quantitative controls for 0.76 ac of this project.
