Application for Quantitative and Qualitative Control Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a quantitative control waiver.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.528 acres and is located 220’ south of the intersection of Westbrook and Falstaff Roads. The project will consist of a two-story residential dwelling with a basement. 

The Applicant has demonstrated that on-site water quantity control for 0.23 ac of this project is not practicable. The Applicant will satisfy the water quantity controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.23 ac of this project. 

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the 0.132 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 0.132 ac of this project.  The Applicant has demonstrated that complete on-site water quality control is not practicable. The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.092 ac of this project.
