Application for Redevelopment Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 1.19 acres and is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of McElderry Street and Aisquith Street. The project will include a multi-story residential building, site improvements and infrastructure improvements. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide water quality treatment using a proprietary filter system with associated underground storage to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.34 acres of impervious area requiring treatment.
