The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 3.27 acres and is bounded by Belair Road to the south, existing commercial use property east and west, and residential property to the north. The project will consist of the construction of a grocery store, parking lot, landscaping, stormwater management facilities, underground utilities, and associated amenities.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide stormwater management facilities and impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.83 ac of this project.
