Application for Redevelopment Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.5 acres and is located Southwest of the intersection of Greenspring Avenue and W. Cold Spring Lane. The project will consist of modification of the existing sidewalks, ramps and parking to meet current ADA requirements.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide qualitative control to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 26,700 sq. ft (0.61 ac) of this project. 

AND

The Applicant will satisfy the part of the redevelopment reduced control requirement water quality controls by returning to pre-existing conditions for 19,100 sq. ft (0.43 ac) of this project.
