The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment and qualitative control waiver.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.540 acres and is located on the east side of York Road between Winston and Rossiter Avenues. The project will consist of the razing of two existing buildings and the construction of a new parking lot. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.099 acres of this project. 

AND

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the 0.099 acres of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 0.099 acres of this project. 

The Applicant has demonstrated that on-site water quality control is not practicable. The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by use of offset bank credits for 0.019 acres of this project
