The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.529 acres and is located northeast of the intersection of Eutaw Place and Chauncey Avenue. The project will consist of a two-story addition to the existing synagogue, including an outdoor courtyard.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.25 ac of this project.
