The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 6.8 acres, is located in the vicinity of S. Wolfe Street, S. Chapel Street, S. Washington Street, Spark Court, S. Castle Street, S. Chester Street, Bank Street, Portugal Street, Portugal-Eastern Alley, Eastern Avenue, Fleet Street, Duker Court, S. Duncan Street, S. Madeira Street, S. Madeira-Patterson Park Alley, S. Patterson Park Avenue, S. Collington Avenue, Choptank Court, S. Bradford Street, S. Montford Avenue, Fait Avenue, Essex Street, Leakin Street, Cambridge Avenue, Van Lill Street, Foster Avenue, S. Port Street, S. Milton Avenue, S. Rose Street, S. Luzerne Avenue, Pfister Court, and Montford-Port AlleyThe project will consist of the rehabilitation and replacement of various water mains. 

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the 6.8 ac of the  project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 6.8 ac of this project.
