The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for qualitative control and redevelopment waiver.

Project Description: The project site, located in Baltimore City, is located within the Sharp-Leadenhall Neighborhood along segments of W. Ostend Street, W. West Street, W. Cross Street, Leadenhall Street, and Race Street. This is a streetscape project that involves replacement of curb and gutters, sidewall and street trees. The project has an approximate area of 1.66 acres.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the 1.533 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 1.533 ac of this project. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide impervious area reduction] to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.124 ac of this project.
