The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for redevelopment waiver.

Project Description: The project site, located in Baltimore City, is located within the Sharp-Leadenhall Neighborhood along segments of W. Ostend Street, W. West Street, W. Cross Street, Leadenhall Street, and Race Street. The project site will provide improvements to pedestrian safety, mobility, and visibility. The project site has an area of 1.66 acres and will disturb 0.12 acres.

The applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area percentage meets the existing impervious area greater than 40% condition for this waiver. The project site will provide greater than 50% impervious area reduction to satisfy the qualitative requirements for the project but request that the quantitative requirements be waived.
