The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The approximately 0.73 acre project is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Rayner Avenue and Dukeland Street in the Mosher neighborhood of western Baltimore City. The project consists of redeveloping the existing historic building and construction of access driveways, a parking lot, concrete equipment pads, utility infrastructure and a bioretention facility and underground stormwater management structure for a high performance research computing facility.  

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide water quality controls to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.27.ac of this project.
