Application for Qualitative Control Waiver

SC-956 Improvements to the Sanitary Sewer Collection System in the Herring Run Sewershed Part I: Sanitary Sewers, Northeast Baltimore City, Baltimore City, Maryland

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 11,456 acres and is located throughout Northeast Baltimore City. The project will consist of improvements to the sanitary sewers throughout the project area. It is a Consent Decree project. The improvements will consist of point repairs and replacement of sewer mains. Sanitary manholes will be replaced and rehabilitated as well. Disturbed areas for excavation will be returned to the existing condition.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the all of project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for any of this project.
