Application for Variance

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.13 acres and is located Northeast at the intersection of E Lombard Street and Bioscience Drive. The project will consist of a pre-packaged chiller plant. 

The Applicant is requesting a variance in accordance with Article 7, §24-1 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this hardship.  The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by off-site mitigation for 386.33 cubic feet of Water Quality Volume treated on the developer’s property.
