Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 7.35 acres and is located on the west side of the city between Westport Substation and Wilkens Avenue Substation. The project will consist of the installation of a 3’x3’ duct bank from Catherine St. through Carroll Park Golf Course to along CSX railroad tracks to Washington Bvld. At which point the duct bank will follow Hollins Ferry Rd to Baltimore Housing Authority property at which point the duct bank goes cross county until it crosses MD 295 (BW Parkway) where it will follow Kent Street to Cedly Street and end at the Westport Substation.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 7.35 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 7.35 ac of this project.
