Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 0.46 acres and is located 250 feet northwest of the intersection of Park Heights Avenue and Taney Road. The proposal is to construct a 3 story, 120- seat synagogue with 18,500 SF of floor area. Access to the site is from Park Heights Avenue.

The Applicant is requesting a Quantitative and Qualitative Control Waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-1 and Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.

The Applicant is requesting a variance in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-4 of the City Code for approximately 0.09 acre f this project. The Applicant has demonstrated that 0.46 acre of the project will have water quality and quantity control provided. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control for 0.09 acre of impervious area associated with this project which is unable to be drained to the SWM facilities.
