The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 4.00 acres and is located southerly at the intersection of Bowley’s Lane and Moravia Park Drive. The project will consist of site improvements to existing Convenience Center such as new asphalt pavement, office trailer, and new utilities etc.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide canopy tree planting to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.25 ac of this project.

The Applicant will satisfy the remaining water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 1.925 ac of this project.
