The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative and quantitative control waiver.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 0.70 acres and is located North at the intersection of Chemical Road and Hawkins Point Road. The project will consist of the excavation of removal of impacted soils. Excavated areas will be restored with clean soil to original grading and cover conditions.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 0.70 acres of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 0.70 acres of this project.

The Applicant is requesting a Quantitative Control Waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-1 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that 0.70 acres of the project has a direct, concentrated discharge of stormwater to tidal waters. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 0.70 acres of this project.
