Project Description: |
The project has an approximate area of 3.97 acres and is located on the southeast corner of University Parkway and North Charles Street. The project will consist of replacement of the existing natural field with a synthetic turf field including a drainage collection system which shall be tied into the existing storm drain system. Other improvements include new dugouts, grandstand seating, bullpens, batting cages, a restroom/storage building, plaza area and landscaping. The Applicant is requesting a variance in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §24 of the City Code to satisfy the remaining 4,312 Square Feet of impervious area that is required to be treated but is unable to drain to the ESD facilities provided.
