Application for Qualitative Control Waiver: Sanitary Contract No. 875 – Rehabilitation of Southwest Diversion Pressure/ Gravity Sewer Phase III

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 4.75 acres and is located north and south of the intersection of Frederick Avenue and Brunswick Street and generally follows the rights-of-way of Ellicott Drive, Frederick Avenue and Brunswick Street. The project will consist of rehabilitating approximately 4,700 feet of 78-inch diameter sewer and associated wastewater bypass pumping of sewer to be rehabilitated.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 4.75 acre area of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 4.75 acres of this project.
