The City of Baltimore’s Bureau of Water and Wastewater is performing important
utility work in your area. This is planned capital work for the improving sanitary sewers in the Herring Run area. This work will enhance the environment by reducing sewage overflows, basement backups and flow disruptions.

Date: November 2011 – Summer 2013 – in sections
Location: Argonne Dr. to southeast of Harford Road – along Herring Run and adjacent to Lake Montebello
Des. of Wk: Upgrading of the Herring Run Sanitary Sewer Interceptor. This includes open cut excavation and micro tunneling of sewer pipe. A temporary roadway is being constructed to access the existing sewer line. Disturbance to wooded areas will be minimized and older trees are marked and protected from disturbance.
