Application for Redevelopment Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a Redevelopment Waiver. The applicant has provided stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Applicant: Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, Spring Gardens Complex 1699 Leadenhall Street, Baltimore, MD 21230

Project Description: This project involves the removal of the existing electrical structures, concrete foundations and 50% of the gravel base area. The removed gravel area will be re-established to grass. The drainage patterns will be maintained to that of the existing drainage patterns. In accordance with the redevelopment requirements 50% of the existing impervious area within the limit of disturbance has been removed. The applicant is requesting a Redevelopment Waiver in accordance with Subtitle 23-7(c)(1) of the Baltimore City Code.
