Application for Administrative Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for administrative waiver. If granted, the administrative waiver would allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements that were in place prior to the Baltimore City Council’s adoption of Ordinance 10-277 on May 3, 2010. The applicant must provide stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Applicant: La Cité Development, LLC 237, West 35th Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10001

Project Description: “La Cité Development” La Cité Development, LLC is proposing a neighborhood redevelopment project on land bounded by W. Mulberry Street, N. Poppleton Street, W. Baltimore Street, and N. Stockton Street. Associated improvements will include:

• Sidewalk, Pavement and Curb reconstruction associated with utility connections for the buildings.
• Existing row house rehabilitation
• New townhome buildings
• New multilevel parking garages
• New multi-story residential apartment buildings
• New multi-story commercial buildings

The project received approval on its Stormwater Management Master Plan on August 12, 2009 which met the requirements of preliminary plan approval.
