THIS SATURDAY: DPW Community Meeting
Friday Dec 14th, 2018
Got a question about a trash problem? Looking for job? Want your water bill reviewed? To get answers to these questions and more, City residents are invited to attend this Saturday’s “DPW in the Community” meeting hosted by the Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW).
Look for us this Saturday, Dec. 15, at the New Waverly United Methodist Church, 644 E. 33rd St., Baltimore, Md. 21218. Director Chow and his senior leadership team will be there from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
DPW Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., will answer the community’s questions about the proposed Baltimore H20 Assists program, which would cut water/sewer costs by 43 percent for low-income residents, and explain the need for an adjustment on sewer and water rates.
DPW launched a series of community meetings at the beginning of the week (Tuesday, Dec. 11) with a standing-room only crowd in West Baltimore at the Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church. There is a community meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 18 in Northeast Baltimore at the Public Safety & Training Facility, 3500 W. Northern Parkway, Baltimore, Md. 21215. Plus, there will be two meetings ( a morning and an evening meeting) on Friday, Jan. 4.
