Project Description: |
The project has an approximate area of 3.77 acres and is located in the Eastern Herring Run Sewershed (north and south of Frankford and Radecke Avenue intersection). The project will consist of rehabilitation work on sanitary gravity sewers ranging from 8-inches to 27-inches in diameter. This rehabilitation work is mainly comprised of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining and sewer house connection lateral sealing, which both occur through the existing manhole structures. A small portion of the work includes excavation such as sewer dig-up point repairs and new manhole installations. Rehabilitation will also be recommended for some of the manhole structures within the project area. The rehabilitation work does not result in changes to the existing landscape. The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 3.77 acres of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 3.77 acres of this project.
