Application for Administrative Waiver: GREEKTOWN REDEVELOPMENT

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for an administrative waiver. If granted, the administrative waiver will allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements that were in place prior to the Baltimore City Council’s adoption of Ordinance 10-277 on May 3, 2010. The applicant must provide stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 13.5 acres and is bounded by Oldham Street to the East, Foster Avenue to the North, CSX Railroad to the West and Dillon and Hudson Streets to the South.

The project consists of Redevelopment of an existing trucking facility with associated parking, warehouse and maintenance buildings into a residential townhouse community.

The Applicant is requesting an Administrative Waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-8 of the City Code. The project received preliminary approval before May 4, 2010, and therefore meets the conditions for this waiver.
