Application for Phased Development Waiver: CHESAPEAKE COMMERCE CENTER - PARCEL C

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a Phased Development Stormwater Waiver. If granted, the waiver would allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements that were in place prior to Baltimore City Council’s adoption of Ordinance 10-277. The applicant must provide stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 13.41 acres and is located south of Holabird Avenue at Quail Street. The project will consist of mass grading in preparation for the second phase of site development. The mass grading includes installing sediment and erosion control, preparing the subgrade for the building pad and future pavement areas, installing utilities and installing building foundations.

The Applicant is requesting a phased development waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-5 of the City Code. The project conforms to an existing stormwater management master plan, previously approved by this Division.
