DPW’s Labor Day Closures and Service Interruptions

Director Alfred H. Foxx reminds residents that Labor Day is a City holiday and the Department of Public Works’ Offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 3, 2012.
On Labor Day – Monday, September 3:
NO TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTION : Mondays are not regular curbside trash and recycling collection days in Baltimore City.
DPW’s YARDS CLOSED: Citizen Drop off Centers and yards will be closed on Labor Day, including the Quarantine Road Landfill, the Northwest Transfer Station; and the Eastern, Western and Northwestern Bureau of Solid Waste yards.
BULK TRASH :There will be no bulk trash collection scheduled on Labor Day.
PARKING METERS: Parking meters will NOT be in effect on Labor Day.
