The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.41 acres and is located west at the intersection of W Lake Ave, and Lakehurst Dr. The project will consist of the razing/demolition of the 5,670 square foot Father Josephite’s Home, the construction of an addition onto the adjacent building, and site improvements such as sidewalk and minor grading. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.41 acres of this project.
