The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 1.22 acres and is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Monroe Street The project will consist of removing an existing building and adding two additional fueling stations and parking to the existing Royal Farms convenience store.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide impervious area reduction and payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.14 ac of this project.
