Got a question about your water bill?  Want to find out what projects DPW is working on for customers? Looking for a job?  DPW Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., will answer these questions and more from citizens at “DPW in the Community,” on Friday, Jan. 4.   Two meetings will be held as follows:

• 9 a.m. - 12 noon at the Councilwoman Rita Church Community Center at Clifton Park, 2101 St. Lo Drive.
• 6 pm - 8 pm at Henderson-Hopkins School, 2100 Ashland Avenue. 

DPW has already held 4 of these highly successful meetings.  The meetings are free and open to the public.

During the meetings, Director Chow speaks directly to residents and City water customers who want to know more about DPW and the work it does on their behalf. 

These meetings allow residents to learn more about DPW’s proposed Baltimore H20 Assists, a fiscally and socially responsible proposal that would allow DPW to provide a significant discounts on water bills to at least 40,000 eligible low-income households.  Citizens can also get sanitation-related concerns addressed and apply for DPW jobs on the spot. DPW Customer Support and Services staff will be on-hand to address questions about water bills and monthly payment plans to help bring outstanding water bills current.

Director Chow will open each community meeting with remarks and then take questions from the audience. Following the question-and-answer session, meeting attendees can visit the DPW resource tables. Additional “DPW in the Community” meetings are being planned and will be announced when details become available.
