Application for Qualitative Control Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver.

Project Description: Fort McHenry is selected to be included in the replacement program due to the historical maintenance records, high optimain risk scores, and the concern on low gas pressures and capacity issues. The project has an approximate area of 0.11 acres and is located within the area bounded by Nicholson Street (to the North and the West), Constellation Plaza (to the South), and Halsey Road (to the East). The project will consist of installation of new gas main and abandonment of existing main via open trenching.
The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 0.11 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for this 0.11 ac project.
