Department of Public Works Resident Advisory Council

DPW is seeking candidates for the inaugural Resident Advisory Council (RAC). This new Council will provide the Department with community input and guidance on solid waste, water, and wastewater policies and services. The RAC will also collaborate on innovative solutions to some of the city’s longest-standing issues. DPW is currently accepting applications from Baltimore City residents who want to serve on the Council.

 Members of the DPW RAC will be asked to:

  • Attend a monthly meeting (online or in-person when COVID-19 mandates allow).
  • Serve a two-year term.
  • Attend at least one DPW community event.
  • Contribute to the development of DPW outreach programs.
  • Serve as ambassadors for the program by actively advocating for proper waste disposal in communities and promoting cleanup efforts.

 The deadline to apply to serve on the DPW RAC is Friday, September 17, 2021.
