Application for Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: | : The project has an approximate area of 1.29 acres and is located east of the intersection of Edison Highway and East Madison Street. The project will consist of a 1-story addition to the existing fieldhouse at Bocek Park that will include a full size gymnasium and fitness area, and pedestrian improvement around the building. The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide water quality to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.96 this project. The Applicant will satisfy the required recharge volume for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 152 cu. ft.
