Application for Variance/Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a variance to the Baltimore City Stormwater Management Ordinance 10-277.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.753 acres and is located at the northwest quadrant of the Greenspring Ave., Taney Rd and Wetherburn Rd. intersection. The proposed improvements are to subdivide the existing 32,800 sf lot into 4 residential lots, construct 4 single family detached homes with off street parking, and greenspace.
The Applicant is requesting a Quantitative and Qualitative Control Waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The project has implemented Environmental Site Design to the Maximum Extent Practicable. The required treatment volume has been met for the site; however, physical constraints preclude full treatment of the required site area. The project is not treating 10,345 sf due to utility conflicts and grade considerations.
